Leo Featured on AP Wire

My son, Leo, 9, is one of about 10 percent of children who recover from an autism spectrum disorder. I am proud to share my story of hope and recovery so that other parents of children confronted with this disorder in their child can also believe in their child as I believed in mine.

While not all children will "recover," every child will be able to participate more fully in life if parents recognize that they need to recover from the blow of the diagnosis and start immediate early intervention.
